1) Information We Process

Based on the current app configuration, the app may store:

  • Profile details you enter: full name, email, and phone number.
  • App/device identifier: generated App ID used for activation and support.
  • Activation and trial status: activation expiry and trial timing values.
  • Study records: attempts, scores, flashcard schedule, and related analytics.
  • Content sync metadata: content version, sync timestamps, cached notices/resources, and downloaded question images for offline use.

2) How Information Is Used

  • To personalize your profile and display your study context.
  • To validate trial and activation access status.
  • To provide app features such as practice, mock exams, flashcards, and progress summaries.
  • To synchronize and cache cloud content updates for offline access.

3) Storage and Retention

GATPrepEthiopia is designed as an offline-first application. Profile and study data are stored locally on the device (local preferences and local database).

Synced question content, announcements, resources, and image assets may be cached locally for offline use.

4) Data Sharing and External Links

We do not sell personal information. The app does not require a mandatory sign-in account for normal study operation.

If you open third-party links (for example Telegram, YouTube, or TikTok), those services apply their own privacy policies.

5) Cloud Content and Security Notice

Public content updates are delivered from Cloudflare Pages at https://gatprepethiopia-data.pages.dev/.

Important: Secrets, activation keys, private tokens, and protected paid content should never be published in public static JSON files.

6) Your Choices

  • Update profile information through app settings/onboarding.
  • Choose when to run manual cloud content updates.
  • Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data (subject to operating system behavior).
